Marcin works at the Wrocław University Library, where from 2004 he has been involved in the digitisation of collections (manuscripts, incunables, old prints, lithographs, photographs, maps, contemporary printed materials). He participates in the organisation of processes to digitise, preserve and archive the Library’s digital collections and make them available online, in particular using International Image Interoperability Framework standards. He was a member of the expert group on digitisation in the National Institute for Museums and Public Collections, and co-author of many publications on digitisation of collections. He is a co-creator of the service Digitalizacja.pl
