Elwira Wojtunik

Elwira operates in the sphere of new media primarily as a member of the artistic duo Elektro Moon Vision, with Popesz Csaba Lang. Since 2010 she has organised the Kraków sessions of the global network SHARE, which brings together independent multimedia artists, and since 2012 she has been the initiator and artistic director of the Patchlab international digital art festival in Kraków. She holds a degree in media studies and was awarded an artistic fellowship with a residency in Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier (2010), and also won first prize in the CHOPing competition of the Zachęta National Gallery of Art and the WEF (2010). Ms Wojtunik works with organisations including AVNode, an international association of curators and organisers of audio-visual events; Kraków’s Academy of Fine Arts; the M2C Institute for Applied Media Technologies and Culture at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, in Germany; and with the Internet periodical Visual and Media Studies Academic Journal CyberEmpathy.
